Hotel Tower and Sky Garden

This study explores a landmark hotel tower and integrated sky garden in Manhattanville. The urban strategy concentrates parking below grade to free the ground plane for pedestrian routes, patios and public gathering areas, strengthening the project’s relationship with the surrounding streets.
A system of diagonal structural elements supports diamond-shaped curtain-wall panels and gives the tower its distinctive parametric expression. The fully glazed envelope maximizes daylight, while the form widens at the sky-garden level to open broader views toward the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline.
A three-storey retail podium defines the street edge and encourages activity at grade. Together, the hotel, public realm, retail programme and elevated landscape create a mixed urban destination rather than an isolated tower.
