Jahan Mehr Architects plans commercial buildings and interiors around how a business operates and how people use its space. Our work spans retail, offices, sales and presentation centres, and commercial alterations, with architectural services from early feasibility through coordinated documents and construction-stage support.
The right plan begins with the operating brief: customers, staff, deliveries, equipment, storage and the way the space may change over time. A preliminary test fit connects those needs to the size, access and constraints of a prospective property.
For an existing unit or building, we review the available information and identify the surveys, consultant input and building-system questions needed to move the design forward.
Retail and presentation environments need an understandable arrival and a clear sequence through the space. Offices bring a different balance of focused work, collaboration, visitor access and support areas. We develop planning, materials, lighting and architectural detailing around those specific needs.
Where commercial space forms part of a mixed-use building, entrances, servicing and circulation are coordinated with the wider development.
Architectural layouts are developed with the relevant engineering and specialist consultants. Existing conditions, accessibility, building-code requirements and permit documentation are addressed as part of that coordinated process.
The scope can extend through tender support and construction administration, helping the team resolve questions while maintaining the architectural intent.
